About Counselling 4 Change

Laura Boucher, Counsellor
Registered Practitioner

Hi, i’m Laura!

A registered counsellor specialising in supporting men through life’s challenges.

Over the past decade, I have worked in disaster management & recovery, violence prevention, court-mandated therapy, NDIS counselling, Employment Assistance Programs and Family law pathways.

My personal and professional experience has shown me first-hand the impacts of generational abuse, family breakdowns, stigmas and stereotypes on the mental health of Australian men, and this has become a focus area of mine.

In my recent role as Family & Relationship Counsellor and Senior Facilitator of the Men’s Behavioural Health Program, i wrote the 16 week program that was approved and used across central QLD. Here, I advocated for men to help improve their lives, relationships and the community.

I started Counselling 4 Change to offer private, convenient and comfortable talk therapy to clients across Australia. No matter your location, you deserve access to quality care.

In our sessions, I will listen to you with no judgement and will help you to understand your thoughts, beliefs and actions. We will work together to identify your unique goals and will use a range of evidence-based strategies to achieve tangible, lasting results.

Become the man you want to be. Let’s talk.
